I have decided to set myself a one week challenge! This time I am going Paleo.
For those of you who don’t know, the Paleo diet is a way of eating which takes you back to the time of the caveman. Essentially you cut dairy and gluten from your diet, eat lots of lean proteins, nuts and berries and fruit and vegetables.
Sounds difficult? Well it might be, I have always enjoyed my refined sugars and delicious treats from Momo Tea. However there is something to be said for cutting out the artificial preservatives in food.
We also have a new addition to our little family:
A SLOW COOKER!
Ok….So everyone I talk to doesn’t seem as excited as I am about this fact, but SERIOUSLY, this will make my life so much easier.
Can you imagine how easy it will be chucking a whole lot of easily prepared veges and meat in a cooker and leaving it on while you’re at work and then coming home to delicious aromatic smells? To me that sounds like heaven!
I have already delved into the internet blogosphere and have found some divine recipes which are available on my Pinterest board. I’ll be cooking a whole chicken with forty (yes forty) cloves of garlic tomorrow night and will post the results.
